Job Description
*Responsibilities
- Daily comparison/entry of live APL operated vessel schedules in Schedule Manager Application / LISA system for the assigned services & report any discrepancies to concerned Ops Manager.
- Update Operated & Partner vessel schedules as received via coastal broadcasts into Schedule Manager / LISA application.
- To be able to generate weekly vessel schedule report in excel format to ascertain delays to various services and report the same to Reporting Manager.
- Understand the service schedule reliability index from Operations support and add value by suggesting ideas to better do the reports.
- Analyze the set-up in a commercial marine operations team to understand the functionality of various departments within its umbrella.
Job Requirement
- Pre Operational knowledge in container industry is preferred.
- A seafarer with 2nd Mate license / Equivalent Maritime qualification like diploma or degree in maritime science / 1 year shore experience in maritime industry in a container company.
- Good Excel / Word skills is a must.
- Good English communication skills & ability to adapt to new system applications required for vessel scheduling
